Take a Break From Fear

Love this video! I forget that I need breaks throughout the day from the normal everyday stress of being me. It’s easy to get into the mindset of just one more thing, let me just get one more thing done. I certainly get up from my work several times a day but not so much to just re-center myself for no immediate reason. I get stuck in the mindset that I need a reason to use the tools Mother gives us rather than just because they feel good and why not feel good all through the day??? I tend to use all my tools in the morning and just before bed. I’m feeling ready to use them at least one time during the day. So crazy radical!!

I just took a mini break as I’m writing this post I began with deep breathing and then felt myself become a gorgeous flame maple tree. We have so many in our town adding to the stunning fall foliage. I feel more centered, less stressed (even though my stress wasn’t elevated, just normal levels) and ready for another hour of creating with Mother. 

Her emphasis on stress reduction is finally making an impact on my brain. As I practice these tools, I’m discovering the depths of my fears. Instead of sending me running to the hills, I feel more empowered to surrender those fears into Mother’s hands rather than ignore them. And by doing so feed them.
