Mother introduced this tool during School of Love 2018 and I have to say that for me it was a revelation. As I listened to what Mother is saying here, I’m reminded of how much I get stuck along certain pathways of thought and perception. Resistance, like the ego, was always considered the enemy before Mother came into my life. It was something I had to rid my life of, vanquish like a foe. But like so many things I’ve done in the past, that is a set up for failure because resistance, as a force of nature, isn’t going anywhere. Over the last few decades, She has dispelled the myth about my ego and now She is tackling resistance. She really does bring love into everything.
What will I do with myself when I cease battling the imaginary enemies within? I’m thinking a hobby is on my horizon. I’m capable now of admiring my ego, loving my singular yet connected existence and forgiving it’s “I want mine” tendencies, so I’m really excited to feel the same love for resistance. At this point, I’m still in the awe stage. I’m amazed at how powerful I am when it comes to my shadow resistance and I’m just learning how to recognize my light resistance.
